Trailing Jade (Senecio jacobsenii), also known as "String of Dolphins," is a stunning succulent prized for its cascading stems adorned with unique dolphin-shaped leaves. Native to South Africa, this plant thrives in bright, indirect light but can adapt to partial shade. It prefers well-draining soil and should be watered thoroughly but allowed to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Trailing Jade is sensitive to overwatering, so it's essential to err on the side of underwatering rather than overwatering. During the growing season, fertilize sparingly to promote healthy growth. This plant is an excellent choice for hanging baskets or placed on shelves where its trailing nature can be appreciated.
