Epiphyllum Anguliger, commonly known as the Fishbone Cactus, is a unique and visually striking plant prized for its distinctive foliage resembling fishbones. To care for this epiphytic cactus, provide it with bright, indirect light for optimum growth, although it can tolerate some shade. Water the Fishbone Cactus sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot. During the growing season in spring and summer, fertilize the plant monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength to promote healthy growth. Additionally, ensure the Fishbone Cactus is planted in well-draining soil mix, as it prefers a slightly acidic and sandy substrate.
