Cyclamen plants are known for their delicate, ornamental flowers that come in shades of pink, red, purple, and white. Native to the Mediterranean region, Cyclamen thrive in cool, shady environments with well-draining soil. They require moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. Cyclamen prefer cooler temperatures, around 50-60°F (10-15°C), and benefit from occasional fertilization during their active growing season. Proper care also involves removing faded flowers and providing good air circulation to prevent fungal diseases. With the right conditions, Cyclamen can provide beautiful blooms throughout the fall and winter months.
