Hosted and taught by Lichen or Knot team members, you will learn all about care tips to keep your terrarium successful and looking its best. Beginners welcome!

What is a terrarium? Terrariums are mini-gardens typically housed in small glass containers, containing a fully functioning plant ecosystem that is predominantly self-sustaining.

Materials

All materials are included with your classroom ticket. Materials include: 1 glass terrarium container, planting mediums to create your perfect terrarium style (soil, moss, pebbles, etc.), and 3 terrarium-loving foliage plants. Additional plants can be purchased for your terrarium on the day of the classroom and will be available at extra cost.

Classroom ticket is $75.

Tickets include 20% off shopping in stores for Terrarium night only! To use your 20% off, shop our Home Store before class, between 5:00 - 5:45. After class, our Plant Shop will be available to shop from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Classrooms are open to the public with a total of 15 people. Ages 8 and up are welcome.

Our terrarium building classroom runs about 1 hour.
