Dyckia 'Grape Jelly'
Succulent bromeliad with long, barbed, purple leaves that deepen in color in full sun. Flowers in spring on spikes with orange blooms. This plant almost resembles a sea urchin with its round, spiky appearance.
Dyckia are the most cold tolerant of the Bromeliad family. They are drought tolerant but thrive on frequent watering during the active growing season. To keep this plant happy, give it bright-indirect sunlight indoors and water once a month.
