Crassula perforata | String of Buttons
Crassula perforata, or String of Buttons is native to the arid parts of South Africa. This plant has triangle-shaped leaves that create a spiral shape around the plant's stem, giving it a stacked appearance. The green leaves can even give off a pink hue when exposed to sufficient sunlight!
Taking care of this plant is simple. Because it is a succulent, give it lots of bright, indirect light. It can take full sun if you are planning to put it outside. Only water this plant once it has fully dried out, about once a month.
