Terrarium Time differs from our Terrarium Building Classroom by offering you the flexibility to schedule a time to build terrariums throughout any weekend, Friday - Sunday. This was created as a way to serve our out of town friends who are visiting Floyd and for those that just don't want to wait for the next scheduled classroom offering. Our classrooms are still available as well.

What is a terrarium? Terrariums are mini-gardens typically housed in small glass containers, containing a fully functioning plant ecosystem that is predominantly self-sustaining.

Spots available for groups of 1-15.

Tickets: $65 per person

You will learn all about care tips to keep your terrarium successful and looking its best. Guided help available as needed. Beginners welcome!

Materials

All materials are included with your Terrarium Time ticket. Materials include: 1 glass terrarium container, planting mediums to create your perfect terrarium style (soil, moss, pebbles, etc.), and 3 terrarium-loving foliage plants. Additional plants can be purchased for your terrarium on the day of the classroom and will be available at extra cost.
